Faster to call vs faster to type
Its pretty easy for my generation (Millennial) to look up an asset in the mobile app (Rooster 2.0) but its not as easy for older generations. I would also include SMS messaging as a barrier for certain generations. Calling a number or inputing a contact in your phone is universal in my opinion. The issue is scaling a call service and including context as to the whereabouts of assets without a graphical user interface showing a map.
I came across bland.ai today and found that there “pathways” logic for there ai’s phone agents was interesting. If given enough context, names/intracompany slang for assets, locations, crews, jobs, projects and also proximity to assets used regularly that an ai phone agent could be just as fast at telling a user where something is as opening the app and typing in the asset.
